NAD+ and cellular health.

What NAD+ is, why it matters for energy and cellular repair, and how it's typically administered.

what NAD+ actually does.

NAD+, short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a molecule found in every living cell in your body. It plays a central role in converting the food you eat into usable cellular energy, and it's also essential to how your cells repair damaged DNA and regulate healthy aging processes. The challenge is that NAD+ levels decline naturally as you age — by some estimates, levels in your 50s can be roughly half of what they were in your 20s. That decline has been linked in research to lower energy, slower recovery, and reduced cellular resilience, which is why restoring NAD+ levels has become a widely discussed area of wellness and longevity-focused care.

how it's typically given.

IV Infusion

Delivered directly into the bloodstream over the course of a session, allowing for higher, more complete absorption than other methods.

Injection

A quicker option than an IV, often used for regular maintenance once an initial protocol is established.

Nasal Spray

The most convenient option for between-visit support, though it delivers a smaller amount than an IV or injection.

a conversation worth having.

NAD+ therapy is generally well-tolerated, but IV sessions can run longer than a typical hydration drip, and some people notice mild flushing or a tightness in the chest during infusion that resolves when the rate is slowed. As with any IV-based treatment, your provider will review your health history first, since certain conditions call for a different delivery method or a modified approach. If you're mainly interested in energy and recovery support, your provider can help you decide whether NAD+ fits best on its own or alongside another service, like a broader anti-aging protocol.
